Fibrezone - Powered by H2O Networks

Fibrezone

Connecting your business to high speed fibre is frequently difficult and expensive, especially if you're not in a major city. It might be that you want to connect to several points within the city or be able to connect out to a Data Centre or high bandwidth internet access. Until now this has been an expensive wish and you have had to limit your business growth as a consequence.

H2O Networks can solve this problem now with Fibrezone. Fibrezone is an exciting new approach to providing high speed fibre connectivity in smaller towns and cities at a fraction of the cost.

How do we reduce the costs?

Firstly the network is deployed utilising the FS Focus System (Fibre Optical Cable Underground Sewer System) that takes advantage of the 360,000 miles of the UK's waste water network. This avoids the expensive open cut or dig, greatly reducing costs and also significantly reducing the impact on both the environment and traffic flows in a town or city.

Pre-installed dark fibre

Fibrezone is a ring of multi core dark fibre cable within the town or city, with connection points located around the circumference. It is then possible to connect into the ring at any point and either exit the ring again to connect to another business or connect with a major ISP or telecoms carrier.

Security and Independence

The net result is a direct point to point dark fibre connection that utilises Fibrezone to cross the most expensive part of the city with an independent pair of dark fibres that are yours to control. Your network will never be connected to another fibre or WAN/LAN.

H2O Networks FS Focus Systems utilisation of the sewer system in the UK means that on average the cable is 5 metres below the surface of the ground. This provides an exceptionally secure environment for the specially designed fibre optic cables, protecting them from fire, explosion and malicious tampering.

Shared Investment and Lower Costs

H2O Networks have jointly funded the implementation of Fibrezone with both local councils and major telecom carriers to provide you with the low cost of a shared infrastructure with all the benefits of an independent direct point to point connection.
